Making Memories

When I started my Blog this summer, I decided that I would print it every year and it would be a scrapbook of sorts. So, for those of you that take the time to read it, thank you. I enjoy sharing with my friends and family how "cute" my girls are. Every now and then one of them says something really funny and I feel the need to write it down. Not that you will be able to appreciate it the way I do, but for the sake of remembering those cute moments when I am too old to remember anything else. This week, Lucy said two things that were hilarious.

1. I was getting ready to take a shower this week and asked Lucy if she wanted to join me. She proceeded to take her clothes off and then said "I ready. I got my neki on." Neki=naked. When she was smaller she would take her clothes off and run around dancing singing "Neki Neki"

2. I was reading to Ella yesterday on the front porch. She was sitting on my lap in the rocking chair. Lucy came around the corner and said "I read Mommy. You got a leg for me?"

Have I mentioned that I love more children so much?

Precious! Being neki is fun I guess. I'm sure we used to think so too when we were that age. Who needs clothes anyway! hehe

Kate~Too cute. I have a notebook of stuff my three say. just lastnight my oldest one was trying to talk to her almost totally deaf grandpa (really he is) and she got frustrated. then she turned to say something to her dad, (who was not paying attention) and he said uh, what cha say. She was so frustrated she turned around to me and grandma and said, "dang you think these men around here ever heard of a hearing aid." It was so funny, she is so sassy, and well it was on of those times I laughed until I hurt.

we had neki spaghetti at my dad's last night. we all sat down and i said "ok, it's naked spaghetti, girls let's take our shirts off"...my dad, step mom, and aunt looked at me with mouths dropped, waiting for me to strip!!! they were quite relieved when i explained that it was just for the girls to avoid stains. thought of you and little lucy though:)
