The Night Before Christmas

And all through the house, not a creature was stiring......... but two beautiful girls in wonderfully hand-smocked nightgowns.

This year my mother smocked Christmas gowns for the girls to wear. They turned out beautifully and they were so proud to wear them. It's been years since my mom has smocked anything and this year she picked it back up and has done a great job. I've got to get her working on some summer things.

(The lighting is a little funny in these pictures. Erik gave me a new flash for my camera and I had still not gotten the hang of it when I took these pics)

Cute gowns!!! I would love to learn to smock, but I know that I don't have time for it.
