In a former life I was an obsessive, overly-organized, list-creating freak! I have a BFA in Communications and a Masters of Business Administration. I recently left a great job working for my family's business. Little did I know that quitting that job to be wife and mom would be the most important and gratifying job I have or will ever know. I am no longer organized, I seldom can find the lists I actually do still make and I'm not sure I have completed a project in 2 years. But I could not be happier.
I am a Child of God. I am mercifully blessed to know my Creator and I pray daily that my children will come to know Him, too.
I am a Wife. I love my husband. He is my best friend. He is everything to me.
I am obviously Mom to my two beautiful girls. Need I say more?
I spend what little time and energy I have left trying to be Friend to the few that I have stuck with me through the years :)
As a stay at home mother I wonder how I will find the time to keep this blog updated. However, I have always enjoyed a challenge and this should be no different.
This year Santa was extremely stupid brave. He brought Lucy a keyboard, drums and cymbals. It's clear to us that Lucy is our musical child. She loves music and sings all day long.
This is how we ALL felt after the music performance was over!
We've got a cool electric guitar (even Jan and I like it), so we'll have to get them together soon. I bet they'd make a great band. (By the way, it's good to see another dad in his superman tshirt. Jan wears his around the house.)
