It's NOT Water

As Lucy found out the hard way, this is NOT water.

It IS, however, dish soap.

And, yes, it does make you vomit....alot.

In the checkout line at Walmart, and on your groceries, and on the poor little boy behind us in the checkout lane, and on the sweet checkout lady who called Poison Control.

Did I mention that after that whole ordeal I went to pay for my groceries and had no money. Thank God, literally, my mom was 2 lanes over from me. Once again, she came to my rescue. Which, by the way, has been a recurring theme since I began having children.

I feel for you! When John Owen started getting into things, he took the Desitin off of the changing table when I stepped out of the room, and who knows how much of it he ate before I stopped him. Even though it was scary, I have to chuckle when I think about how his face was covered in that white stuff! I thought it'd never come off! :-)

I'm so sorry! I think everyone with children over 15mos. has had to call poison control at one time or another. I actually called one time about P. eating the flowers in the front beds.

As far as the money thing...I have done that before (before Maggie) so don't feel bad. I had to ask someone to watch my cart and go all the way home to get my money. It was pretty humiliating.
Glad Lucy is ok! Never a dull moment with little ones!

I can see you now. This kind of situation never makes out for a good day to an organized, always in control person like you and me! I read this to Kirk and we just laughed because I would have died!! I HATE vomit and I am a nurse!!! I am glad she is ok! I am getting a lot of parenting tips from blogs. I will be posting the poison control number in my home and in my purse!
