Fall in Tennessee

One of my favorite times of year is Fall. I just love watching the leaves change colors. All the reds, yellows and purples. I think that each year as I get older, they become even more beautiful. It reminds me that there is a God who put the world in motion. That He gave us the land, the water and the beautiful trees. In a strange way it helps me put my life in perspective. I am reminded that just as the trees change with each passing season and the leaves fade away, so do the troubles and burdens that we carry. To everything a season. As we place our faith and trust in God, we can be assured that we, too, will shed our burdens like the trees as we go into the next season of our lives.

Kate- I too love fall. I love my job in the fall especially because I am driving around all day and am able to see God's creations. I am training a nurse right now to take my place while I am off and the past two weeks we have been amazed at how beautiful the trees were. God is awesome. He allows the trees to change and provides us such beautiful colors to look at. They die and then comes spring. Everthing begins to come back out and starts to bloom. Truely amazing!

I'll have to post some of our pics from Chattanooga. It was beautiful there. I miss living in middle Tennessee. Just wish we could move all our familiy and friends there.
